Suzanne Marie Yount

Suzanne Marie Yount, 76, of Ford City, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in her home.

Born April 20, 1946, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late C. William and Mildred (Knell) Yount.

Suzanne was a 1964 graduate of Elderton High School.  She was a member of United Rockville Lutheran Church and Marshall Grange.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, and Grange activities.

She was employed by Big River Manufacturing and Helpmates.

She is survived by one sister, Sylvia (Don) Altman of Spring Church; her nieces: Alison (Michael) Williamson of Gaithersburg, MD, Melissa (Doug) Scott of New Castle, and Caryn Bulmer of New Tripoli, PA; and her nephews: Dennis (Michele) Hall of Westbrookville, NY, and Jeffrey (Michaela) Hall of Norwood, NJ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Bulmer and her husband, George.

Friends will be welcomed from 9 a.m., Saturday until the time of services at 10 a.m., at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.
