Theodore R. "Ted" Breightmyer, 59, of Ford City, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 18, 2021, in his home.
He was born July 15, 1962, in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
He was the owner and operator of Breightmyer's Inspection and Service, LLC, in Ford City.
Ted was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Ford City. He also belonged to the Ford City Sportsmen Association and the N.R.A. He enjoyed shooting guns, listening to rock 'n roll music, and watching science-fiction TV shows, especially Star Trek. Ted was also an avid lover of golden retrievers.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy (Stouffer) Smith; his father, Theodore Larry (Karen) Breightmyer; a brother, Ronald J. (Kelli) Breightmyer of Tidal; a sister, Tracy L. (Curtis) Groff of Rural Valley; and two stepbrothers, John and Joe Neal.
Friends will be welcomed from 7-9 p.m., Monday, and from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, with Rev.
