Valerie Jean Liberto

Valerie Jean Liberto, 60, of Ford City, died Friday, August 4, 2023, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.

She was born February 22, 1963, in Kittanning, daughter of Leo L. Liberto and the late Marguerite (Carson) Liberto.

Valerie was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, Ford City. She worked at Eat 'n Park in Natrona Heights for 25 years. She then became a nurse's aide and worked at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

She loved music and ballet dancing, and had many friends.

She is survived by her father, Leo L. Liberto of Ford City; two brothers: Richard (Karen) Liberto of Jacksonville, FL, and Leo Liberto and his fiance, Tonya Balog, of Kittanning; a niece, Leigh Ann Liberto; and nephews Ryann, Rich, and Christopher Liberto. 

Valerie was preceded in death by her mother.

Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC., 1032 Fourth Avenue, Ford City, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with The Very Rev. Eric J. Dinga, V.F., officiating. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.welchfh.com.
