Vernon S. Thomas, 82, of Dayton, died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in ACMH Hospital.
Born December 11, 1938 in Kittanning, he was a son of the late Charles and Pearl Thomas.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Thomas was a member of the Kittanning Free Methodist Church. He retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation in Brackenridge. He enjoyed camping and traveling, and was a member of the N.RA.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Roberts) George Thomas; a daughter, Dorrie Thomas of Butler; a son, Vernon Thomas of West Kittanning; his stepchildren, Raymond (Linda) George of Florida, Archie George of New Jersey, Grace McCarthy of Washington; his grandchildren, Kevin and Olivia McCarthy; and one sister, Ruby.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Pansy Thomas.
