Virginia L. Harmon, 89, of Ford City died Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in ACMH Hospital.
Born March 13, 1932, in Ford City, she was a daughter of the late Ricardo Dodi and Emma Streno.
Virginia was employed by the former Jamesway in Kittanning for 23 years.
Mrs. Harmon was a member of St. Lawrence Church in Cadogan.
Virginia enjoyed shopping, interior decorating, and watching cowboy movies. In her younger years, she was a roller skater, and participated in many exhibitions.
She was the last of the Dodi family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Harmon; her sisters, Frances Herring, Natalina Dodi and Mary (Dodi) Prazenica; and her brothers, Silvio Dodi, Richard Dodi, and Silvio Dodi.
Surviving are her three children, Allen D. (Carla) Harmon of Colorado Springs, CO, Paul R. (Evelyn) Harmon of Ford City, and Paula K. (Roy) Heffelfinger of Manorville; her grandchildren, Jared Harmon, Laura Harmon, Emma Harmon, Jenna Harmon, Michael Harmon, Vanessa Harmon, and Devin Heffelfinger; and her great-grandchildren, Adalyn Harmon, Avery Harmon, and Freya McClure.
Friends will be welcomed from 4-8 p.m., Monday, at Welch Funeral Service LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Parting prayers will be offered at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m., in St. Lawrence Church, Cadogan, with Father Alan Grote as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
