Vivian Ann Pendleton, 89, of Ford City, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in ACMH Hospital.
Born August 23, 1933, in Ford City, she was a daughter of the late Randle Pendleton, Sr., and Georgia (Isabell) Pendleton.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, she served as teletype operator in the Korean War. After returning from active service, she worked as a governmental clerk in Harrisburg.
Vivian was an avid TV watcher, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and eating. She also loved rap music.
She will be dearly missed by her two sisters: Toni K. Pendleton and Georgia M. Pendleton, both of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: William, Homer, Blaine, Randle, James, and Lorenza Pendleton, and sisters: Lula Robertson, Ida Pendleton, Annie B. Pendleton, Rita J. Davis, and Carrie King.
Services will be held privately. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, with military honors accorded by the Armstrong County Honor Guard.
