Wilma Jean (Rupert) Creel, 97, of Kittanning, formerly of Ford Cliff, died Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Concordia Lutheran Ministeries of Cabot.
She was born April 30, 1927, in Ford Cliff, daughter of the late Fred A. and Ruth (Pepper) Rupert.
Wilma was a member of the Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church and the Ford Cliff Firemens' Auxiliary. She formerly worked at the Kittanning Post Office.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, camping, spending time with her schnauzers and going to the casino.
Wilma is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Barry W.) Crytzer of Kittanning and Ramona (William) Crytzer of Uniontown; her grandchildren: Jennifer (J.T.) Foster, Angella (Jason) Komorowski, Hannah (Lucas) McCauley, Melissa (John) Eckman, and R. Chad Garner, her great-grandchildren: Declan Foster, Jacek Komorowski, Channing Hooser, Jaxon McCauley, Trinity McCauley, Maddie McCauley, Kodah McCauley, Lindsey Crawford, Addison Coscarrelli, Caitlyn Van Damm; and a great-great-grandchild, Emma Van Damm.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald E. Creel, who died November 12, 2009; a brother, Fred Rupert; and a sister, Vivian Mechling.
Family and friends will be welcomed from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Welch Funeral Service, LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with Rev.
